PRE-SERVICE REQUIREMENTS


In order to process your application we need you or your BOAC-Approved Consultant to send us certain documents as listed below.

You can do this by making photocopies of all the documents and either sending them to BOAC by post with a covering letter, or scanning and attaching them to your e-mail enquiry.

IMPORTANT: A Student Referral Form MUST be downloaded and attached to every application;

Should you be admitted to the college/university of your choice, you must bring the originals of all your documents with you on the first day of admission. Failure to do so will mean you will not be able to undergo the admissions process and may miss classes.


The documents we require are as follows:
  • Current and attested (with professional stamp) proof of academic and non-academic qualifications;

  • Copy of current passport (expiration no fewer than six months) photograph page, front page, back page and all pages containing information about you, attested with stamp from notary public;

  • Four passport-size photographs. Important: It is a requirement that the background be either grey or white to show definition between applicant's face and the background hats and face coverings, including those religious, are NOT permitted;

  • A minimum of two (2) reference letters, including at least one academic, on headed paper.

  • Bank statements from you or your sponsor's account, covering in entirety the most recent 28 days;

  • A letter of recommendation from an employer if you are currently working in a related field;

  • A statement from your sponsor (if you have one) verifying the funds for your studies and living costs whilst in the UK (or other country) will be available. A sponsor also needs to provide a photo ID and proof of address;

  • A statement from you, the student, to say why you wish to specifically attend college/university in the UK or other country.
